We are pleased to announce that a one day Autumn Meeting of the Association of British Neurologists will take place at the Royal College of Physicians in London on Thursday 30th September 2010. As you may know, the Netherlands Society of Neurology cancelled the meeting in Amsterdam on September 29th – October 1st 2010, at which we were to be their guests. This left the Association of British Neurologists in the position of not having a second scientific meeting during 2010, as originally planned.
The programme will consist of four short courses, with parallel sessions of free communications based on submitted abstracts, and two plenary lectures. We are not proposing to have posters.

Please submit your abstract by 6th August 2010 at the latest, using a link which can be found on the Association of British Neurologists website from the 1st July. All submissions will be evaluated by members of the programme committee. During August you will receive an email letting you know whether your abstract has been selected for platform presentation at the meeting. Successful abstracts will be published in the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry.
You can register for the meeting by completing the online form found on www.theabn.org from 1st July. The cost for ordinary members will be £125 and for trainees £50. This includes all meals and refreshments. A dinner will be held in the evening for an additional charge.

ABN Annual Meeting, Newcastle 2011
The Association will have exclusive use of The Sage Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne on 5-7 October 2011. The Sage Gateshead is situated a short walk from the mainline train station, and is next to the River Tyne. With hotels within the immediate vicinity, it is hoped that members will be encouraged to attend.
