Deadline: 22 December 2018 - , Edinburgh

Suitable for all qualified doctors interested in beginning a career in research.

Are you interested in a career in clinical research? Would you like to come to the Edinburgh Stroke Winter School? The aim of the course is to give a potential researcher the opportunity to develop an idea into a deliverable project over three days. We will cover study feasibility, management, regulation, presentation, writing, imaging, trials, and cohorts guided by excellent stroke researchers from around the UK and Europe.

If you want to be a stroke physician, neurologist, care of the elderly physician, radiologist, pathologist, or ED doctor, the course is for you.

You will get a network of researchers at the same level, and an opportunity to meet with senior academics from around Europe. Previous attendees have enjoyed the course very much: see their feedback here: https://eso-stroke.org/eso/edinburgh-stroke-winter-school/

The course is: Edinburgh 18th to 20th February 2019, and you can apply by sending your CV and a short statement on why you would like to come to judi.clarke@ed.ac.uk before 22nd December 2018 .
