Fellowship Application 2020

The ABN Clinical Research Training Fellowship scheme provides 3-year clinical research training fellowships in neurological disciplines resulting in a PhD.

Applications are welcomed from all neurology sub specialities for fellowships awarded by the ABN and its funding partners. 
Funding may additionally be available for proposals specifically relating to Multiple System Atrophy related conditions and their underlying mechanisms via the Sir Roger Bannister Clinical Research Training Fellowship, a funded partnership between Multiple System Atrophy Trust (MSAT) and the Association of British Neurologists (ABN).

Applicants will either already hold a UK or Irish specialist training post in Neurology or be planning to enter Neurology specialist training after completion of a PhD. Salary will be funded. A maximum amount of £10,000 per annum will also be awarded as a contribution to PhD fees, reasonable travel costs and consumables. Those who have already secured a Medical Research Council, Wellcome, NIHR, or other personal fellowship award of more than one year duration, are not eligible.
