ABN Virtual Meeting 2020
Annual Meeting 2020: The Virtual Experience

The ABN Annual Meeting 2020 is now live. The meeting is spread over 9 weeks with a main meeting day on Friday 16 October, preceded and succeeded by four Thursday night sessions. All live sessions will be recorded and available to delegates until 16 November. If you have not yet registered for the meeting you may do so by clicking on the tab in the red bar above. To join the live sessions, delegates should click on the programme icon within the conference app and select the required session to view.

The Case Presentation competition will take place Live on the 16 October meeting day. All other platforms and spotters will be presented in recorded format as below. They will be available to meeting delegates via the conference app and ABN members via this webpage from 7 September onwards.

Platform presenters will present a powerpoint with narration (8 mins maximum duration with a maximum of 5 slides) ABN Members may click here to access platforms

  • These will be grouped into sessions as per the original Bournemouth programme and made available on the conference app
  • Delegates will be encouraged to view the abstracts and ask questions via session moderators (who will act as virtual meeting chairs)
  • Moderators will oversee all interactions from the launch of the app on 7 September until the Virtual Meeting Day on 16 October

Poster presenters will present a powerpoint with narration (3 mins maximum duration with a maximum of 3 slides) ABN members may click here to access posters

  • These will be grouped by subject matter into a series of video presentations available via the conference app
  • Delegates will be encouraged to view the abstracts and ask questions via moderators, or virtual poster guides
  • Moderators will oversee all interactions from the launch of the app on 7 September until the Virtual Meeting Day on 16 October

Shortly after the Virtual Meeting Day, the top presenters will be invited to give a live presentation during a Thursday evening session
