The Association of British Neurologists and NANSIG are delighted to invite medical students (UK and international) to join our Virtual Neurology Afternoon.
Join us for an engaging and interactive event designed for those interested in pursuing a career in neurology. Through real-life cases, our speakers will demonstrate how careful history-taking and examination skills guide the diagnosis of common neurological
problems. They will also highlight exciting new advances in treatment that have emerged from cutting-edge basic science research.
In addition, the webinar will provide practical advice on the structure of neurological training in the UK and guidance on how to enter the specialty. This is a valuable opportunity to gain insight into both the practice and the future of neurology, with
plenty of time for discussion and questions.
As part of the programme, students are invited to submit abstracts with clinical or scientific content related to neurology. The top four submissions will be selected for platform
presentation during the event, with a prize awarded for the best presentation – see below for more information.
