The new ABN Lumbar Puncture audit tool allows neurologists nation-wide to contribute to service improvements by combining local audits with national benchmarking. 

Vital LP audits are often carried out with variations from trust to trust, preventing comparison. The ABN has put together an LP audit tool that can be used for the local audit while enabling trusts to upload their data to compare their outcomes to other sites. 

National outcome data will be made available on the ABN website and presented by the ABN at the annual meeting to inform and influence best practice - and you can contribute to this vital work.
