European Academy of Neurology (EAN)/European Federation of Autonomic Societies (EFAS)/International Neuro-Urology Society (INUS) Guidelines for Practising Neurologists on the Assessment and Treatment of Neurogenic Urinary and Sexual Symptoms (NEUROGED Guidelines) Urogenital symptoms are commonly reported following neurological disease and a multidisciplinary inter-society evidence-based guideline has recently been published with ABN approval. The 38 recommendations in the guideline offer a framework for practising neurologists on the assessment and treatment of urinary and sexual symptoms reported by their patients. The document includes two algorithms that illustrate the recommendations, a check list of symptoms to enquire about in a neurology clinic, and red flag symptoms that warrant shared care with allied specialists.

Dear colleagues We now know that the risk of complicated COVID-19 infection is increased in certain groups, including those over 70 years, with long-term conditions or a weakened immune system. These risk factors are found in many of our patients. In co-operation with the Royal College of Physicians, and the Chief Medical Officer's team, the ABN has produced guidance on the risks from a variety of conditions and treatments. This document can be used to identify those at high, medium or low risk of complications from COVID-19 infection. The recommendation from the Chief Medical Officer is that high risk patients self-isolate for 3 months.
