Honorary Secretary Elect, 2025 - 2026

I am a Professor of Clinical Neurology in the Centre for Preventive Neurology, based at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, QMUL and Consultant Neurologist at the Royal London Hospital, with a subspecialty interest in MS. My research has a focus on the roles of ethnicity, deprivation, gender and wider social determinants of health in MS. I led the publication of UK guidelines on pregnancy in MS, and currently lead the UK MS pregnancy register. Alongside my ABN role, I am a member of the NHS England Neurology clinical reference group, and the UK representative on ECTRIMS Council. My research has been supported by wide range of funders, and I have over 150 peer reviewed publications in a range of high impact journals.
